To aid in a faster search time A Child Is Missing Alert has acquired a satellite program that allows technicians access to imagery showing landmarks of a specific area. This tool could make a critical difference in a search for a missing child. A Child Is Missing Alert assists law enforcement agencies in the search and early recovery of missing children, the elderly (often with Alzheimer’s) and the disabled in the first hours of their disappearance by use of telephone alert calls. ACIM can place 1,000 calls in 60 seconds to residents and businesses in the area of where the missing child was last seen. The program is presently serving the states of Florida, Rhode Island, Alaska, Ohio, Georgia, Alabama, Nevada, Indiana, Oklahoma, Michigan, West Virginia, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and continues national expansion.
